The D'Amico family

acquired the Borgo di Mocale in 1972 and owns not only the entire farmstead but also the Trebbio tower house in the district of Lama, which is situated 800 metres from the main complex. 2009 saw the renovation of a small sheep-fold within the "Biccheri" olive grove, which is accessible via a pedestrian path.
